Buckingham guide service is year-round and operates on the Muskegon River.  All trips are drift boat “float” trips done out of a big 16 ft. Professional River Guide Series Drift Boat.  Float trips start just below or downstream from the Croton dam and finish either a couple of miles upstream or downstream of downtown Newaygo.  The stretch of river the trips run depends on the time of the year.  My specialty is utilizing light action spinning gear with light line.  The combination of the two is a proven and effective method for catching salmon, big rainbow and brown trout, and of course, steelhead.
